I’ve never liked pickles, really. And the dill spice just doesn’t do it for me. However, last year on our anniversary Josh and I ventured over to the Toasted Frog where he ordered an appetizer of their famous fried cheesy pickles. While I did resist their delicious goodness…I have to admit…the fried + cheese combination vanquished my dislike for pickles.
In honor of my dearest darling, I decided to embrace my inner-dill. Over some good conversation, Christine and I ate inhaled a plate of those tasty pickles last night….and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was so nice that friends nearby celebrated with me (thank you Amanda and Christine!)
and friends far still joined us in spirit and poured out their love through phone calls, email and texts….and pictures!

Thank you family and friends for praying for us, loving us and finding joy in our joy! It made being apart on a special day so much easier, and I am grateful. And although I may not love dill, I certainly love being a Dill! (and a Steward at heart/blood, but yall know what I mean!)
