Josh’s brother Michael and his lovely bride, Rachel, entered into marriage in upstate NY – Alexandria Bay. Apparently I barely took any pictures, but my brother Dan’s girlfriend, Janie, did take a bunch of really great photos – I’ll add those to this gallery as soon as I receive them from her 🙂
Overall, A-Bay is a quaint, pretty area. The weather was a bit fickle, and the dear couple even had a power outage that decided to strike about an hour before the ceremony. We rushed over to the church to light a bunch of candles – very romantic! But the power did come back on just in time! The ceremony was lovely, afterwards we enjoyed the infamous Dilly Bars, had a few drinks at the cocktail hour and then the party began!
To Mike and Rachel!
And like I said, more pics to come.
Darling Janie and our Mimosa outing. It was necessary. Out the window was saw a bus full of young Amish (or Mennonite) couples on a giant group date.
Enjoying a drink on the deck with Janie. I promise that Janie and I did more than drink. We sat by the bay, talked, ate pretzel crisps and tried to locate dry ice.
Said Dilly Bars. Took an antire day + some to figure out how to transport these bad boys from 45 minutes away. And then where to put them when they arrived.
There they are. Up close and personal.
NJ Hammers and GA Hammers make a total of 11 children playing at the park 🙂
The happy coup.
