Hello from North Dakota on a very rainy Thursday!
It’s been a busy, emotional week on our end. I’m in the final half of the semester (5 Weeks and 1 Day to go! What? Senioritis? Nooooo…) and it seems that some of my professors think that their class is the only one I’m taking. One professor wanted us to turn in a draft of a paper, read The Prelude, and give a presentation all on the same day…(I have 5 other classes). On a positive note, I rocked my LAST EVER SPANISH SPEAK TEST today. I feel so free. Only 3 more written Spanish exams and I am GOLDEN.
Also, I got FANTASTIC news from the Dean today. Apparently I have enough upper level credits (it’s a long story, and I’ll just leave it at that), so all I will need to take in the fall is one English course, one social science course and one quantitative reasoning course. I AM SO PUMPED.
Josh will be leaving soon to go to training in Ohio. It hasn’t really hit me yet. I will miss him so much, but having done long distance before…I feel like we’ve been trained for military life! Plus he’s only a few states away, so I won’t have to worry too much for his safety 😛 I know I sound brave now, but there will probably be some days where I just cry into my pillow like a giant baby. C’est la vie.
In the mean time, I will basically be living with Becca of The Literary Project. We have many adventures planned, so stay tuned! It’s going to be legen – wait for it – dary.
Tonight I think we’re going to the musical Once Upon a Mattress – the local middle school is putting it on, and we know the star of the show! She’s in our Catechism class, which is pretty neat.
That’s my brief and somewhat boring update for ya’ll. As usual keep in touch. Have a blessed Holy Week!
