I love buying home decor items, but our bank account isn’t a fan of my TJ Maxx weakness. But I can make some stuff at home now that I achieved a level of semi-competency with my sewing machine. So here’s my latest creation: a burlap runner with a cotton center. All I did was fold over the edge of the burlap, and sew it down. Then I used pinking shears on the edge of the cotton, and sewed that onto the burlap in the (kind of) center with a straight stitch. It may not be perfect, but that’s part of the charm? Yes, I’ll go with that. Charm.
